Friday - Trip to Valetta, Bowling

On friday we got up very early. We had breakfast, at our host family, which was really impressive because we got a real maltese one. The ESE bus picked us up, like every morning and took us to the school. There we had a revision about the tenses, wich was very usefull.

At 1.30 o’clock our school was over, and we had some free time till 2 o’clock. Then another bus picked us up where we met Victoria our guide for the next 2 days she was a real goodlooking young maltese girl and. On the journey she started to indroduce our plans for the day, she told us that we are going to Valetta. As we arrived at the main gate, we were really impressed because the city looks like a medievel castle, the whole city is surrounded by a wall and there is only one way to come in. We heard in the second word war the town has been attacked and many buildigs were destroyed . Vicitoria brought us to the flower garden of Valletta wich was amazing because we had a great view to the sea. Victoria just told us some interesting facts about the history of malta and the political system there.
We were amazed by the streets because every streets is paralell to each other .

We spent 2 hours at the tour and then we had free time, to look at the stores or something like that. At 5 o’clock we arrived at our host family. We took a shower and after the dinner we went to a bowling hall, called “super bowl”. There it was really funny because some of our classmates were bowling for their first time. A few others, including us were playing billards. We spent the rest of the evening at paceville, where we went to the clubs and checked out the nightlife. All in all it was a good trip to Valetta, and we really enjoyed the bowling afterwards.

  1. Valetta is really an amazing town and we were so lucky to having had such brilliant weather. An interesting fact is that all the streets in Valetta directly lead to the sea... and the sea is everywhere here in Malta. That's what we like best ,-)
The bowling was fun too. Congratulations to the super-bowler Jan!
