Sunday - Go-Karting , Paintball

Sunday was one of the funniest and most exciting days in Malta, because it was not like a normal Sunday at home, where I sleep until 3 p.m. and the whole day is over. Instead we said: Lets try some new exciting things.

We booked two leisure activitys at school consisting of Paintball and Go-Karting. So the day started at 9:30 a.m. . It was a normal morning with breakfast and taking a shower. Then at 10:50 a.m. we all met at our Pickup-Points.

We drove about 10 minutes to the Paintball Area. We were separated into two teams. The green ones and the brown ones. Our armor was a military suite and a mask. We dressed up and our referees showed us the battlefield and explained us how we will play. The two groups went each to one side of the battlefield. Then a referee counts down from 3 and then he blows his whistle. When you hit someone at the chest or head he had to go back to his base and the other team got a point. After 20 minutes the team with more points wins. The green team (In which I was) won both battles.I liked it very much but I also have something to complain. The guns often didn't work and some hits really hurted. But all in all it was very and exhausting.

Afterwards we had a little break and went on to the Go-Kart court. Arrived there we had to wait because some people were driving. Luckily there was a pool table so we blazed two matches. The Go-Karting was separated into two parts: The qualifying and the race. For qualifying we made two groups of 7 people, the fourteenth one was our group leader. The best four of each group were qualified for the race. At the end there was a presentation ceremony. The winners even got trophys. It was quiet a lot of fun because the cars weren't identically. Some were faster and some just suddenly crashed.

All in all the day was very fun. you could complain about the equipment but for 53 euros and a good organization it was fantastic

Greetings to Austria, Patrick Weltin and Werner Auer.

  1. It was even more exciting watching you play the game... although the first game could have been a little bit faster as you seemed to be a bit tired and lazy ,-)
But in the second game even your sports teacher would have been astonished by your mobility and the speed of the game.
Congratulations to the winner of the Go Kart Race, Markus! Although our real hero was Abnor!!!
It seems that this forthcoming evening will be a more relaxing one as you all seem to suffer from the strains of these acitvities!
But we are looking forward to another karaokee night with you (hopefully you are not detaining this event from our readers)
