We met up at 5:45 A.M. at the school. At 6 o'clock we drove to Vienna by bus. The journey took about 2 hours and at 8 o'clock we arrived at the airport.
Everyone was sober till now, I guess.
Then we checked in and waited till 10 o'clock. We came through the security check although one student had a guitar with him. He rested it in the hand-baggage where it was really safe. (If you are a guitar player rest your guitar as hand-baggage in the plane)
For some students the flight was a specially stunning and amazing, because it was the first time. The weather was really beautiful except above Malta. We dived through clouds and it was something special.
Everyone was sober till now, I guess.
At 12 o'clock we arrived on Malta. What instantly caught the attraction of our eyes was the oriental style of the buildings, the airport looked very medieval. So you feel flash backed into the siege age. In the airport there were also many adds for siege events. Then a bus from the ESE, our school, brought us to our host families.
Afterwards our host family welcomed us, though it wasn’t a real family but an old nice woman. We spoke a little bit and she showed us our room. In the evening we went with the whole class into the city and spent the time in the Hard Rock Café.
Now I’m not sure if everyone was sober.
